Cuervo

INTERIOR DESIGNER

Elaine Cuervo’s passion for design sparked within the walls of her preparatory high school, Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in Miami. The architectural design of Carrollton draws heavy inspiration from classic Mediterranean properties – essentially looking like an Italian villa. The meaningful design elements of this style are a nod to the arts, history, and literature.

“The interiors are as elegant as the ivy-covered exteriors, with stylish customizations and graceful finishes.”

The homeowners hired Top Shelf Design to oversee an extensive renovation and redesign of their 10,000 square foot home, as well as outdoor area, resulting in a timeless elegance befitting the property, with a functionality and warmth ideal for a family and an inviting space to entertain guests. The house was sold in 2023, fully furnished by TSD, at the request of the new buyers.

ELAINE CUERVO OF TOP SHELF DESIGN

Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo

“Approaching the Metropole is an experience that absorbs almost all the senses-—the beauty of the long driveway with the façade in the distance, the sound of the water softly murmuring in fountain, the smell from the flowering trees… all introducing you to the epitome of quiet luxury. I love the balance of Mediterranean classic design with the touch of modern accents. Every space is layered and beautiful.”
